Our Medical Assistant program at South Florida Healthcare Institute is meticulously designed to equip aspiring healthcare professionals with the skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in medical assisting. Program Overview

The Medical Assistant program spans 16 weeks, providing students with a well-rounded education in key areas relevant to medical assisting. From health science fundamentals to administrative and clinical duties, our curriculum covers the breadth of skills required for this dynamic profession. The integration of theory and practice ensures that students are not only well-versed in the theoretical aspects but also gain hands-on proficiency.

Guaranteed Externship Placement

Our school guarantees externship placement for all of our Medical Assistant students. South Florida Healthcare Institute is partnered with many hospitals, doctor offices, urgent care centers, and clinics across the state of Florida. We also help graduates who successfully complete our medical assistant program and pass the NHA certificate examination find healthcare jobs in their local communities to start their Medical Assistant careers.

All-Inclusive Tuition

Inclusive tuition ensures all students benefit from the full SFHI experience without unforeseen costs or hidden fees. Students have the flexibility to pay for their tuition in full or enroll in an interest-free payment plan. First payment due at sign up. Subsequent payments due monthly.

Our Medical Assistant tuition includes:

• Online access to course materials (including eBooks)
• Patient simulation platform
• One set of uniforms
• Medical kit (includes venipuncture injection kit, blood pressure and stethoscope)
• 6 NHA CCMA practice exams
• NHA CCMA certification exam
• SFHI Medical Assistant diploma

Total program cost: $3,500, or four $875 monthly payments. 

Accreditation and Licensure

Rest assured, our Medical Assistant program is approved by the Florida Department of Education, meeting the highest standards in education. Our accreditation ensures that our curriculum aligns with the requirements set forth by regulatory bodies, providing students with a solid foundation for their future careers. Our school is also partnered with the National Healthcareer Association (NHA). Upon completion, students are eligible to take the NHA’s Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) examination.
